Ton Schram, my father who was always busy doing odd jobs on his Citroen Traction Avant, taught me how to make wiring looms.

In the past 40 years Ton has delivered hundreds of wiring harnesses for the Citroen Traction Avant. He makes all possible types and years of wiring harnesses from 1934 to 1957, also with many specific requested modifications like fitted turn signals for the older types, but also the fitting of an alternator, ground lock or conversion to 12V. The Traction Avant is really Ton's area of expertise. Many people come to Ton for electrical failures or a new wiring harness, such as the dynamo, dashboard tree, trunk tree, headlight pieces or add a Complete wiring harness set for the Traction.

You may know Ton from his lectures on electricity in the Citroen Traction Avant. Ton has also done many other projects such as complete new build and installation of wiring harnesses for tractors to custom build and installation of wiring harnesses and added switches etc. for rally cars.

Since I was a child I have been involved in working on oldtimers. Ton had a Traction Avant from his childhood and later he imported a Citroen La Licorne from France of which there are only 2 in the Netherlands.

On my 18th I bought my first car, the Peugeot 205 CTI 1.9 and from then on that was my passion. I have always been busy working on the Peugeot 205. In the meantime my 205 is almost completely restored. Almost everything has been taken off or has been taken off. A few years ago my 205 went to the painter for a complete new coat. The stripping and rebuilding of the car I did together with Ton.

Later I started to install a immobilizer, led lights in the interior and under the bonnet, better audio and several meters like a voltmeter. Eventually I also started working on the wiring. It could use some attention. Meanwhile, the wiring in my Peugeot 205 CTI has been completely restored and fitted with new insulation.

After some time, I started making my first ready-made plug 'n play battery cable set for the Peugeot 205The Big 5. This upgrade replaces your current worn out main power cables between your alternator, starter motor, battery, engine and body. Replacing your old worn out main cables with this set will certainly do your car good. You will no longer have any voltage loss and you will measure 14.4V on your battery when the engine is running, so you will have much better power at all the places in your car that need it. Think also of the starting of your car, which draws a lot of current. It didn't take long before there was a lot of interest in the cable set, so I started making these cables on demand.

Not much later, I started the Peugeot 205 GTI / CTI sensor harness new to make with original plugs. This tree takes care of all your gauges and some alarm lights in your dashboard like coolant temperature/alarm, oil pressure/alarm, oil temperature, dynamo charge alarm and for activating the start relay.
