Description

Original DAV reconditioned fuse box / relay box for the Peugeot 205 and 309.

Can be found in all Peugeot 205 and 309 types and various other cars from the 80s and 90s.

The price is without fuses and without relay. Relays can be added as an option. Specifically on request, we can supply with fuses, windscreen wiper relay and/or indicator relay if required.

Original

This is an original DAV fuse box in very good restored condition. It is not a new product, some scratches may therefore be present.

Location and function

Located on the driver's side under the steering wheel, the fuse box fuses all electrical components in the Peugeot 205, Peugeot 309 and other models. Also provides for the placement of several relays, the windscreen wiper automatic and the indicator automatic. Usable for both LHD (Left-Hand Drive) and RHD (Right-Hand Drive).

Implementation

There are 3 types of fuse box versions in circulation.

  • Version 1 with 13 fuse positions. No fuse can be inserted in the 14th position. There are no contact pins there. The 2-pin plug position at the top right of the fuse box is empty.
  • Version 2 with 13 fuse positions. Same as version 1 but with a special metal clip on the front for fastening (fitted until about November 1987).
  • Version 3 with 14 fuse positions, all 14 of which are internally interconnected. In the 14th position, a fuse MAY be inserted. Contact pins are clearly present. As in the 2-pole plug position on the top right of the fuse box.

You can easily see which type you have.

If the rightmost fuse position (14th position) contains a fuse, then you have version 3 with 14 fuses. If there is no fuse, check for contact pins. If you see copper pins in the 14th position, then you have version 3. If no pins are present, then you have version 1.

You can also check whether the 2-pole yellow plug position on the top right of the fuse box contains 2 pins. Is this empty then you have version 1. If it contains 2 pins, then you have version 3.

We have both versions available. Both versions are suitable for both LHD and RHD and can be fitted to the Peugeot 205 and 309.
