It is placed at the same place as the<br \/>\nas where the 6 volt voltage regulator from the original DC alternator is fitted.<br \/>\nwas.<\/p>\n<p>An alternator requires a connection from the ignition switch. This wire from<br \/>\nfrom the ignition switch to the regulator, connection 54, is supplied separately.
