\nThese are the original spark plug cables and caps. Not only do you keep the originality, but these cables also have no internal resistance.<\/p>\n

Ignition cables with solid copper core as original<\/h5>\n

Modern ignition cables have a carbon core as a conductor. This carbon core creates an internal resistance in the cable. This resistance in the cable leads to a slightly inferior spark on which oldtimer engines run and perform less well.<\/p>\n

Because modern ignition systems produce a much higher spark plug voltage, new cars do not suffer from this. Oldtimers, however, run better on a spark plug wire with a solid core of copper or tinned copper.<\/p>\n

For optimal engine performance, it is therefore important to buy ignition cables like the original, i.e. with a solid core without additional resistance.<\/p>\n

Distributor cap<\/h5>\n

Do you still have an ignition with original distributor cap as shown in the photos below? In that case, poke the cables onto the contacts just like that.<\/p>\n

If the original hood has been replaced, a different finish may be required with clips. Please contact us. We can then discuss together the specific finish with mounting clips for your manifold cover.<\/p>\n

These spark plug cables have angled caps like the original. They also have no internal resistance like the original cables. Often spark plug cables are supplied with internal resistance on which the engine performs less well. We would like to explain this further in the description below.<\/p>\n

Note: These cables are intended to be fitted to the original manifold cap. This means that they are pinned directly onto the contact of the manifold cap and have no further connection clip. The picture of this can be seen below in the further description.<\/p>\n
