New wiring harness for the control of the licence plate lamps on the back of the Peugeot 205. To our knowledge, it has been applied to all Peugeot 205 models up to August 1990or the Peugeot 205 phase 1 and phase 1.5 models.

On the phase 2 models, from August 1990, the wiring for the licence plate lighting was in a separate cable harness together with the rear fog light and reversing light. The taillight wiring harness for the Peugeot 205 phase 2 can be found here.

Original and quality

We apply the original dimensions and wire colours and fit new original cable lugs and plugs. We use very clean used caps for the insulation.

For strength and to prevent corrosion, wear and tear and short circuits, each connection between the copper conductor and cable lugs is additionally finished with heatshrink tubing. This is our standard procedure. Where normally only 1 mm² or less was used, we use 1.5 or 2 mm². Thanks to this working method, our wire harnesses have an extra long and reliable life span and a better current throughput.

Options for with or without surrendering the old wiring harness

• Option 1: You can choose for us to supply the licence plate light wiring harness complete right away. The 2 insulation rubber caps are reused but in good to very good condition.

• Option 2: The other choice is that you send or bring us your old original 205 licence plate light wiring harness, so that we can reuse the insulation caps from it. As these are very scarce, you will then pay less. We will contact you after your purchase. Are your insulation caps torn?
