Tailgate wiring harness for various models of Peugeot 205 of all builds, except the CTI / convertible version.

The wiring harness is located in the boot lid.

Choice with or without plus and ground wire for the rear window heater

Often, the separate plus and minus (ground) wires to the rear window are also worn out, creating internal resistance and preventing good current flow. You can indicate in the option menu whether you wish to order these wires as well. These are plug n play. The black plug connects to the black plug in the tailgate wiring harness you see in the picture and the angled connector to the rear window heater. The ground wire with the angled plug comes on the other side of the reverse and the other side contains an eyelet M6 which is connected to an M6 bolt on the body.

Original and quality

The wiring harness is 100% new for all plugs, cable lugs, copper wire and insulation and is the original size. Only the harmonica rubber has been reused, but it is in very good condition.

For strength and to prevent corrosion and short circuits, each connection between copper conductor and cable lug is finished with heat shrink tubing. This is our standard procedure. Our wire harnesses therefore have an extra long and reliable life span.

Trunk lid wiring harness location and connection

The wiring harness connects to some plugs behind the left rear taillight unit. Not all 205s have all options such as central door locking, so you may not need to connect all 3 plugs.

If your 205 does have all the options, you will find the mating plugs for the yellow, white and red 2-pole plugs behind the left lamp unit.
